  Soap box rally Istanbul

  A fun-filled team building event with a competitive edge, Soap Box Derby challenges teams to construct and race their own rugged roadsters! It's not simply a matter of being able to build a kit car using limited resources. Teams will need to use their resources effectively, delegate wisely and complete their roadsters within tight time constraints.

  They'll also need to pass the dreaded MOT before our events managers will declare them roadworthy!

  Cars are scored on everything from speed and power to appearance and presentation.

  Superior driving skills, attention to detail and a cool head under pressure will secure a spot on the winners' podium.

  No engineering skills are needed. Soap Box Derby uses simple construction techniques. Anyone can take part!

  How does it work?

  Soap Box Derby starts with a welcome from our events coordinators. They will be on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly and get everyone in the right frame of mind.

  The whole group is split into teams and the fun begins!

  There are plenty of tricky decisions to be made. Teams will need to think about everything from the method of propulsion to wheels, frame and accessories.

  When the karts are raring to go, it's time for the Soap Box Derby Team Trials! Each trial will test a different set of skills, from speed to parallel parking. Points are awarded to the winners and runners up in each trial.

  There will also be a best dressed vehicle competition with bonus points for go faster stripes and personalised plates.

  The most successful team wins the Soap Box Derby!

  Soap Box Derby has been specifically designed with the aim of breaking down barriers and getting individuals to work together as part of a cohesive unit. 

  Team work is a must as a whole host of skills are required to get a roadster ready to race! Teams must use the skills of their individual members to their advantage. 

  This team building event is a great way to teach a number of skills in one day, including: creative thinking, communication, planning and time management.
