Do it ! Rock & Water Adventure Camp

We organized for the (BIS) British International school Istanbul a two day adventure camp for 50 children and their teachers from the secondary department.

An all inclusive stay with BBQ & campfire night ,fishing ,trekking, raft building , wall climbing ,medium rope course ,swimming, Matrix flight.

The kids camped at the park area , building their own tent and learned a bit off natural skills.

For us it was a perfect camp, we hath lots of fun working with the kids ,their enthusiasm in the activities and very good behaviors during the stay made us wanting to do more of these projects

This school group and others like the AÇİL lise ( Istanbul ) ,İCCA, Dutch school Antalya really enjoyed the adventurous activity's, stay and treatment,

For the future we expect a even more schools and bigger amount of kids to join our adventures school camps.

For next year we developed the" Rock & Water" 5-6 day adventure camp

full of adventure activity's for 12-18 year olds who wish to have a fun & enriching wilderness-based experience.

Note to parents: We insist that all students who enroll WISH TO ATTEND. Our programs are not designed to be intervention or therapy based and do not serve emotionally challenged children or children with extreme behavioral problems.

Pricing: 5-6 day full inclusive adventure week on request.

Please note: Do it ! will try to honor the dates as they will appear on this preliminary schedule soon as best as possible. There may be changes as the season progresses due to permit restrictions and wilderness area concerns.

A new and exciting adventure every day is the theme to our " Rock & Water " Youth Adventure Camps. Turn youthful energy into healthy athletic achievement. a 6-day outdoor adventure.
These camps are designed for youth ages 12-18 who have an appetite for Adventure,kayaking, whitewater rafting, caving ,hiking and camping.
We go to great lengths to make sure your " Rock & Water " adventure camp is exciting and fun, and that you are presented with physical challenges that demand skill, patience, and teamwork.

We have the means for you to expand your horizons while having some serious fun. The difficulties and challenges you face in these camps build essential wilderness skills and experience. All camps take place within the pristine wilderness of the North reach of the Antalya region. No previous experience is necessary for most courses.

Do it ! will provide all meals and camping costs.

Do it ! will provide outdoor activity equipment.
Camping equipment and personal clothing is the student's responsibility.
All camps start at the Do it ! base camp - Adventure park located on the banks of the Aksu River.
Camp check in time is 9:00 a.m. and pick up is 5:00 p.m. Please notify us if you need to change this time.

Our student ratio is low to ensure the quickest learning curve for each participant. Our youth camp leaders and counselors have been offering and leading camps for many years.

We pride ourselves in our ability to run educational and fun camps that kids of all abilities and types can enjoy. Our state of the art equipment ensures the highest margin of safety.

All of our camp leaders and counselors are First Aid and CPR certified and our safety record is impeccable.

You can be completely confident that your child is in experienced hands here at Do it ! and we will definitely give your child a summer they will remember.

Parents are always welcome to come see our facilities for themselves and meet with our experienced staff.

Do it ! " Rock & Water " trips are for youth ages 12-18. We do however work to keep our age ranges to within 3 years difference on trips so students can be among their peer group. The skill level information gives you a general age range that can help you when determining if the trip is right for you.

We do not want to discourage you from applying for trips based on pre-determined age ranges as enrollment is on a first come, first served basis. As enrollment continues throughout the winter and spring we begin to notice trends. Updated age ranges will appear on the schedule page in more detail as enrollment progresses

Do it ! " Rock & Water " adventure trips are fun and educational. Participants learn how to communicate in a group setting identifying and working towards common goals. They learn responsibility for themselves, their own learning, their own possessions and their own safety while considering their personal impact on the group as a whole.

" Rock & Water " Students will grow in their understanding of wilderness travel by learning basic first aid, map and compass, campsite selection, weather and cooking.

Potentially most important, students will have a chance to reflect on the boundless worlds that exist both inside themselves and outside in nature.

Although experiences vary greatly due to the dynamics of groups and terrain, there are activities that many participants will get to experience:

. Thorough safety overview discussing expedition norms, backcountry etiquette, themes and expectations, hygiene, and first aid procedures

. First night icebreaker and a facilitated group conversation called "serendipity"
. Workshops on backcountry preparedness (how to read a topographical map, use a compass, leave no trace, pack a backpack properly, identify and set up camp, cook using camp stoves, build a shelter, etc.)

. Swimming, stargazing, climbing, hiking, playing, paddling, rafting, meeting new friends, and just getting to enjoy being a kid
. Natural history lessons focused on the geology, biology or the specific wilderness areas being explored.
. "Kinesthetic Astronomy" activity teaching stars, space and planets through movement.
. Journal time /solo reflective time .
. Teambuilding games like " mine field / prey" "owls/mice" " special football" "giants / wizards / dwarves" "ants on a log" "all aboard" etc.
