Helge Ringhus and Trond Torkildsen came down to Turkey ,
we went down the Lower Köprülü river ,a beautifull stretch of river what has deep and shallow waters ,with one canyon part and glowing hills surrounding it .
The Norwegian experts of fly fishing showed me some nice new techniques and ways to spot the fish ,we spent the whole day on the water spotting fish who appeared to love the shallow waters .
Helge and Trond tried out several fly's but dew to the warm weather the fish kept quiet .
according to them the river has a huge potential for fishing ,countless spots for trout to hide in the current and shadows.
We found out that the best time to catch fish on this stretch of river is definitely the early morning or late afternoon.
Best thing to do is to start after lunch around 14.00 and fish till sunset around 20.00 .
